Accessibility & Inclusive Product Engineering

Assessment, remediation, VPAT®/ACR preparation and training — delivered by our IAAP-certified accessibility team, for the European Accessibility Act era.

What this practice covers

Where we actually help.

01

WCAG audits & remediation

Manual and assistive-technology testing against WCAG 2.2 — not just automated scanning, which misses most real issues.

02

VPAT® / ACR preparation

Procurement-ready conformance documentation, mapped criterion by criterion with remediation notes.

03

Training, not just reports

Teams come away able to catch accessibility issues themselves, not just with a PDF of findings.

Questions

Before you dig in.

Can an accessibility overlay widget get us to conformance faster?

No — overlays can't fix underlying markup, keyboard operability or focus-management issues, and are widely found not to reduce legal risk. See the related article for the specifics.

Do we need WCAG 2.2 specifically, or is 2.1 enough?

Depends on jurisdiction and when your requirement was set, but 2.2 addresses real, frequently-cited failures — like focus visibility and accessible authentication — worth meeting regardless.
